4 United League teams are participating at the Russian Cup Final Four, which takes place in Yekaterinburg.
In the first semifinal, Pari Nizhny Novgorod defeated MBA – 78:71. Casey Shepherd (26 points), Evgenii Baburin (12) and Andrey Vorontsevich (11) were the Volga team top scorers. Vladislav Trushkin (15) and Andrey Lopatin (14 + 6 rebounds) tried to help the Moscow team to advance.
In the second semifinal, Zenit defeated Uralmash – 78:58. Sergey Karasev scored 18 points, Artem Klimenko had 15 points and 11 rebounds, Trent Frazier had 15 points and 5 assists. Octavius Ellis (17 + 10 rebounds) and Anton Glazunov (11) were the best for the Yekaterinburg team.
On March 17, Zenit will play Pari NN in the final, while Uralmash will face MBA in the 3rd place game.
