Uralmash: The Yekaterinburg team has barely completed the formation of its new roster, as newcomer Octavius Ellis joined the team last week. In general, Uralmash has retained most of its Russian core, including last season’s Superleague MVP Aleksandr Zakharov. Javontae Douglas, one of the leaders of recent years, remains, and four new players have been signed. The first serious test will take place in the road game with a top club. In the last pre-season the Primatov Cup, Uralmash finished third, losing to PARMA and beating Astana. Garrett Nevels and Josh Perkins stood out for Uralmash – Monday will show if this duo is capable of miracles.
