From the first possession the hosts turned on defense mode and didn’t let MBA-MAI score points for 3 minutes, starting the game with an 8:0 run. Soon the Moscow team rebooted offense with Andrey Zubkov and Evgeny Voronov. The Yekaterinburg team responded with long-range shots and Javonte Douglas helped to gain a double-digit lead for the first time in the game – 22:11.

MBA struggled to score at the start of the second quarter, Uralmash used this advantage. Jeremiah Martin led the team with ball movement and regularly found the way into the paint, increasing the lead to 17 points. But three-pointers helped the guests clubto cut the deficit by halftime – 41:30.

At the start of the second half, MBA-MAI again had trouble making shots. In response, Martin scored 6 points and helped teammates to make a 15:3 run.
