Barcelona hosted a meeting between EuroLeague representatives and nine European leagues from 18 countries. The VTB United League was represented by general director Ilona Korstin and Jiri Zidek, official League representative to the EuroLeague, FIBA and other international organizations.
The meeting featured a presentation on increasing revenue from EuroLeague ticket sales and attendance increases in the EuroCup.
The national leagues and ULEB were also informed about financial stability and fair play rules, which have been in effect in the EuroLeague for the past four seasons and will take effect in the EuroCup beginning with the 2021-22 season.
Criteria for selecting teams to the EuroLeague and EuroCup were also discussed at the meeting.
