On the final day of the VTB United Youth League Final Eight, Lokomotiv-Kuban-2 faced Samara-2 in the 3rd-place game. The team from Samara came out on top in a close encounter, 78-74.
Nikolai Bushuev led Samara-2 with 17 points, while Lokomotiv-Kuban-2’s Sergei Balashov finished with 37 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort.
Samara-2 finishes the season in 3rd place; Lokomotiv-Kuban-2 takes 4th.
