The VTB United League club Astana defended their national championship title.
In the final series the team led by Oleg Kiselev defeated the principal rival Barsy Atyrau 3-0 (110:62, 84:46, 58:52). Astana became the 11-time champion of Kazakhstan.
Astana guard Markell Johnson was named MVP of the Kazakhstan championship.
