Astana had a double-digit lead in the first quarter already, but the guests cut the lead to 1 point with  Aleksandr Gudumak and Nikola Rebic help. Despite this, the Kazakh team managed to hold the initiative throughout the first half, although Samara trailed by only 5 points by tha halftime – 37:32.

But in the third quarter, Carvel Anderson started to score time after time, not letting Samara defense to stop him. The hosts lead began to grow quickly – after another Anderson shot, it was 18 points.
