Lokomotiv Kuban is the VTB League 2022/2023 season and the SuperCup silver medalist. The team will participate at the SuperCup 2024.
Head coach is Andrey Vedischev, who took charge of the team in the summer. He has been the president of the Krasnodar eam since 2003.
Loko’s main star is Andrey Martiuk. The center became the co-MVP of December, 1st in points among Russian players in the season-2023/24, and also was the best rebounder among the players of the Top-4 teams in the Playoffs.
In the off-season the team signed B.J. Johnson, who was the leader of PARMA last season. Antonius Cleveland, the best defensive player in the Australian NBL 2022 and 2023, moved from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Krasnodar.
