The new VTB United League will feature 12 teams, which will play four rounds of regular season each (2 home and 2 road games). There will be 264 games total.

The Top 6 teams will clinch in the Playoffs, while the teams ranked 7th through 10th after the Regular Season will advance to the Play-In, where they will compete for the remaining 2 Playoffs seeds.
In the 2024/25 season, the champion will be determined in the Playoffs: the Quarterfinal series will be up to 3 wins, the Semifinals and Finals will be up to 4 wins, and the third-place series will be up to 3 wins.
