On October 9 and 10, the 10th VTB United Youth League season started with games between PARMA-M and MBA-2.
In the first game of the season, MBA-2 won 78:63.
The best scorers are Maksim Savchenko (21 points and 8 rebounds), Pasha Ismailov (13 points and 7 rebounds) and Kirill Esipov (11 points and 7 rebounds). Pavel Morozov (16 points), Gleb Firsov (13 points) and Arseniy Koriakin (11 points) scored against the Perm team.
In the next game, MBA-2 won by 30 points – 83:53.
Maksim Savchenko again became the best in the Moscow team, got the first double-double of the season – 19 points and 10 rebounds. Grigoriy Tuchkov scored 18 points.
12 Russian teams are taking part in the Youth League this season: the VTB United League youth clubs – CSKA, Lokomotiv Kuban, UNICS, Nizhny Novgorod, Enisey, Zenit, PARMA, Avtodor, Samara, MBA, as well as Super League youth clubs – Khimki and Runa.
