On September 3-4, a pre-season tournament – Kondrashin and Belov Cup was held in St. Petersburg. It was attended by 4 United League participating teams: Zenit, CSKA, Nizhny Novgorod and PARMA.
In the 1st place game, Zenit beat CSKA- 100:73. The most effective player of the final was Alex Poythress, who scored 22 points. Iffe Lundberg scored the most points for the Army team (12).
In the 3rd place game, PARMA was stronger than Nizhny Novgorod- 76:57.
Zenit guard Shabazz Napier was recognized as the Kondrashin and Belov Cup-2021 most valuable player . The All-tournament team included Mikhail Kulagin (Nizhny Novgorod), Eigirdas Zukauskas (PARMA), Nikola Milutinov (CSKA), Mateusz Ponitka and Alex Poitress (both Zenit). The award ceremony was attended by the United League President Sergey Kushchenko.
