The schedule for the first stage of the 2026–27 regular season has been announced. The classic regular season will begin on September 25 and end on January 27.
In the season opener, Zenit will face Uralmash in St. Petersburg.
In the 2026–27 season, the VTB United League will hold its regular season in two stages. In the first stage, all teams will play each other in a double round-robin format (home and away). In the second stage, the teams will be divided into two groups based on the results of the first stage: Group A and Group B. Following the regular season and play-in stage, the League’s top eight teams will advance to the playoffs.
