Andrey Zubkov took control of the game from the start. The forward scored 13 points in the first quarter, helping MBA-MAI to build a double-digit lead right away. The guests defense struggled to guard the opposing team, as the Moscow team missed just one field goal in the opening quarter.
Uralmash changed the game in the second quarter and cut deficit and was led by Octavius Ellis. The hosts regrouped in time and partially regained the lost lead by halftime.
The guests were unable to continue the comeback in the second half. In a relatively equal game, the Moscow team played more effectively, outperforming opponent in most stats. MBA-MAI gradually extended its lead and secured the biggest win over Uralmash this season (+15).
