Defense also became an important factor: having conceded 13 points in the first 4 minutes, in the time remaining before the end of the quarter, the hosts allowed the opponent to score only 3 points – 28:16.
In the second 10 minutes, Tony Meier came off the bench and scored 12 points for Zielona Gora. Attacking in the first half with the worst percentage from the game compared to the opponent, due to the advantage on the rebound and careful actions, Gora still went to the break with a double-digit advantage – 51:40.

Comments
Oliver Vidin, Zielona Gora Head Coach :
– It was a very good game for us. This difference is maybe not realistic, but we put a lot effort and that’s why I am satisfied. We played great for 3 quarters, except for the 2, when we lost a little concentration. I hope that in the future we will continue to play the same way as today.
Rostislav Vergun, Tsmoki-Minsk Head Coach:
– Only one team came to the game today. There’s not much to comment. Unfortunately, our leaders have disappeared today, and it is very naive to expect that something good will happen. Great job and congratulations to our opponent. See you in Minsk.
What’s next:
Zielona Gora: November 8 road game against Zenit.
Tsmoki-Minsk: November 7 home game versus Kalev.
