Quotes
Zenit head coach Vasily Karasev:
– It was a good game! We had time to prepare: Approximately an eight-day break. We arrived in Krasnoyarsk on the day of the game. Obviously, it’s always tough against Enisey. But our players executed. I’m happy with Mbakwe’s performance. We signed him for his ability on defense. He hadn’t played in three months, but he’s gradually fitting in with our system.
Enisey head coach Oleg Okulov:
– There are different emotions during and after a game, but I can’t be satisfied with the quality of basketball today. We’ll give the guys some time off. Zenit had a break between games, while our previous game was on the road. We weren’t able to execute multiple things we’d planned for this game. Against a team like Zenit, you need to give total effort for all 40 minutes.
