Zenit held its first training session with the full squad. The newcomers of team are already in St. Petersburg and preparing for the season with the team.
Nenad Dimitrijevic, Zenit guard:
“The flight was long, but I’m glad to finally be here and happy that the preseason is starting. I want to get to know everyone as quickly as possible and start the season. I want to get back to my game, enjoy basketball and hopefully help the team win as many games as possible.
Georgy Zhbanov and I have been close friends since our time at UNICS, we won the title together, and that bond will always remain. I’m happy to be sharing the court with him again.
At EuroBasket 2025, Zenit’s new head coach Aleksandar Sekulic will lead the Slovenian national team with Luka Doncic.
