VTB United League and MBA are closely monitoring the situation and providing full support to the involved agencies and organizations that are currently assisting Russian basketball player Daniil Kasatkin.
On June 21, the basketball player was reportedly detained at Charles de Gaulle airport and placed in custody on suspicion of involvement in a hacking group, charges which he categorically denies.
VTB United League calls for a fair trial for Daniil Kasatkin, to ensure all his legal rights and protect his health.
Daniil Kasatkin is CSKA Moscow basketball school product, he spent the last 4 seasons in MBA and was one of the key players of the Moscow team in the VTB United League.
