On 8-15 September, Izhevsk is hosting a camp for potential VTB United League referees as part of the 9th traditional All-Russian men’s basketball tournament.
The League has selected and invited 10 referees featuring the League leading referees – Aleksey Davydov, Ilya Putenko and Artem Lavrukhin, which will work there for 7 days. They will analyse the games, give theoretical lectures, set accents on important points when refereeing the League games.
The best referees of this camp will be invited to the League this season. With the others, the League will continue to train throughout the season as part of the refereeing institute, which was first launched in the 2022/23 season.
