Vitaly Fridzon signed a contract with Avtodor.
The 2012 Olympic and 2011 European Championship bronze medalist, former captain of the Russian national team, 6-time VTB United League champion, United League Final Four MVP, 4-time VTB League All-Star and 2-time three-point contest winner returns to the League with the Saratov team.
Avtodor became the 6th United League team in Fridzon career, who becomes the oldest (38 years old) active player of the 2023/24 season.
Last season, Vitaly played 43 regular-season and Playoffs games for Zenit, averaging 3.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 10.4 minutes.
