Uralmash defeats Samara in Yudin’s debut

Uralmash defeated Samara at home – 109:46 (39:13, 19:13, 23:11, 28:9).

Uralmash took the lead early in the game. The hosts played confidently in defense and repeatedly found opportunities for open shots, allowing to make 8 of 11 three-pointers in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Yekaterinburg team stopped scoring three-pointers, but continued to take advantage of Volga team mistakes, scoring points on fast breaks. Anton Yudin team confidently increased the lead and won the first half – 58:26.

After the halftime, Samara still couldn’t find its game. Numerous turnovers prevented the Volga team from cutting the deficit. The Yekaterinburg team played confidently in offense and steadily moved towards first 100 of the season. With 4 minutes left, Hayden Dalton scored on a fast break and helped the team reach that mark.
