Story
Although UNICS is fourth and Zielona Gora is seventh, the Polish in case of win would have got the same amount of wins as Kazan. Zan Tabak’s team was active from the very beginning. All first quarter long there was swing – there were 6 lead changes, and quarter ended with minimal UNICS lead (24:23).

However in the second quarter the guests slowly started to gain control. Evgeniy Kolesnikov and Pavel Sergeev succeeded in shooting threes, and when they were supported by Valerii Likhodey and Jordan Theodore, UNICS lead turned double digits – 44:34. 

The hosts didn’t give up and few times tried to started a chase. Right after the half-time break they managed to cut the lead to just 5 but their effort was killed by Errick McCollum and Haukur Palsson. 8:0 run and Kazan’s advantage increased to +13. This gap remained until the beginning of the fourth, when UNICS easily finished this game with a solid win – 100:89. With 8 won games Dimitrios Priftis squad outran their nearest pursuers and got close to Top-3.

Alex Tyus.  The Polish bigs didn’t manage to find any means to fight against UNICS center – Tyus hit 10 of 11 from the field and added 3 offensive rebounds (7 overall).
