The Saratov team took the lead in the first minutes, but the Kazan team gradually began to gain the usual momentum. Georgy Zhbanov successfuly came from the bench and motivated the hosts to make a 13:3 run at the end of the quarter and everyone in Basket Hall started to think that the hosts took control of the game. Avtodor had other plans. The Volga team can not score three-pointers, but carefully used their opportunities in the paint. The first two minutes of the fourth quarter was ineffective, but it was just the beginning. Jalen Reynolds helped UNICS to make the difference bigger. The American bigman scored 3 times in the paint – one of it was and-one – Nenad Dimitrijevic supported with a three-pointer. After a 10:1 run, the winner of the game was determined.
