Center Ismael Bako became UNICS player.
In the 2022/23 season, Bako played for Virtus and won the Italian Supercup. In 33 Euroleague games, the 27-year-old Belgian center averaged 6.1 points and 2.6 rebounds.
Bako is a French champion and French Cup winner with Asvel, as well as a Belgian Cup winner and MVP with Antwerp. In 2017, the bigman was recognised as the best young player in the Belgian championship.
