Lokomotiv Kuban has announced the signing of 24-year-old Belarusian guard Uladzislau Blizniuk.
Blizniuk has spent his entire career in MINSK. In the 2022/23 season he played 31 League games, averaging 11.8 points and 4.4 assists.
– I’m really happy to join Loko, – Uladzislau Blizniuk said. – It’s a new challenge for me, given that it’s my first experience as a foreigner. I`m very impressed with Lokomotiv Kuban. It’s an interesting, ambitious team – a top team in the VTB United League and a silver medalist last season. It’s a team where they trust young players. The arena, the fans – everything is up to the highest level. Krasnodar is a basketball city. I managed to feel it when I played with MINSK there. I know some of the guys personally, in particular, I met Vladislav Emchenko at the European junior championships. I am looking forward to the preparatory period. I hope that I will become an important part of the team and will please the fans with my beautiful game. I will do my best for that.
