Zenit announced the signing of Thomas Wimbush. The agreement with the 28-year-old American is for two seasons.
Wimbush started his career in 2017 in the G-League and played for the Brooklyn Farm Team for two years. In 2019, he moved to Europe and helped the German Ludwigsburg reach the finals of the German league. Then the forward played in Turkey for Petkimspor.
He played the 2021/22 season in Nanterre 92. In 31 games, Thomas averaged 13.6 points and 5.8 rebounds.
