On April 6, 2012, 2 days before the playoffs, the MVP of 2011/12 regular season was announced. CSKA forward Andrey Kirilenko received the trophy.

Kirilenko played 9 games with the average of 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 2.0 assists. The forward helped CSKA win 14 of 16, take the first place in the group and qualify for the Final four.

In the MVP battle, Andrey Kirilenko was followed by Khimki’s Kresimir Loncar and Jonas Valanciunas of Lietuvos Rytas.
