The VTB United League has approved the participants, format and calendar for the 2023/24 season of the youth championship. The regular season starts on 3 October 2023 and ends on 10 April 2024, after the 8 strongest teams will play in the playoffs.
The quarterfinals will be up to 2 wins. The first games will be on the courts of the teams ranked 5-8, the second and the third games will be played on the courts of the teams ranked 1-4. After that, the four winners will face off in the Final Four to determine the strongest team of the VTB United Youth League.
13 teams will participate in the VTB United Youth League 2023/24 season: SSOR Lokomotiv-Kuban-2 (Krasnodar), MBA-Junior (Moscow), Zenit-M (St. Petersburg), CSP-Khimki-2 (Moscow Region), CSKA-Junior (Moscow), Runa-2 (Moscow), UNICS-2 (Kazan), Pari Nizhny Novgorod-2 (Nizhny Novgorod), Samara-2 (Samara), PARMA-M (Perm Region), Avtodor-2 (Saratov), Enisey-2 (Krasnoyarsk Region) and Uralmash-2 (Ekaterinburg).
