VTB United League has completed a large-scale historical project: «To the 100th Anniversary of the National Basketball Championships».
The League will introduce a book launch honoring 100 years of national basketball championships at the SuperCup. The unique edition will be published in two volumes: the 1st – men’s championships, the 2nd – women’s (at the moment the work on the volume continues).
A huge amount of work has been done in archives, libraries and with veterans in order to tell and show in photos all 59 Soviet basketball championships.
It is worth noting that exactly 100 years ago the Moscow team became the first USSR basketball champion.
