The 8th VTB United League All-Star Game will take place on February 18, 2024 at the VTB Arena in Moscow and will be held in a new format.
The best VTB League coaches rivalry
At the upcoming All-Star Game, the coaching teams will face off. The head coaches of the 2 VTB League best teams will be the coaches of the All-Star teams. Each of the 2 teams will be named after their head coach.
New voting format
Voting for the VTB League All-Star Game 2024 will have 4 stages. Fans, media, head coaches and the League will determine the pool of players.
At the first stage (January 8 – 15), fans will select 3 backcourt and frontcorut players by voting in VK. There will be 2 polls presented for voting, each with the 5 most effective foreign and Russian players by the end of December 2023.
At the second phase (January 15 – 22), the media will select 6 more players, 3 of backcourt and frontcourt each, into the pool. The media will not be able to vote for the players who will be selected by the fans.
At the third stage (January 22 – 29) the VTB League team head coaches will select 6 more players, 3 of backcourt and frontcourt each, into the pool. The head coaches will not be able to vote for the players who will be selected by the fans and media.
The final stage (January 29 – February 2) – the VTB United League will determine 6 players, who will receive a wild-card.
For the first time in the All-Star Game history – Draft!
In early February, the All-Star team head coaches will participate in the All-Star Game 2024 Draft Live.
The coaches will select the pool players (24 players) formed by fans, media, head coaches and the League.
