Carter’s average stats in December – 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, with 19.3 eff. points. The American bigman recorded a double-double in the win against Uralmash (11 points and 11 rebounds) and was the top scorer against Lokomotiv Kuban (23 points and 24 eff. points in 28.5 minutes), and was included in Team of the Week
The Perm team finished December with a 5-1 record, including wins over Uralmash and Lokomotiv Kuban, which allowed to end the year at 3rd place in the standings.

– To be honest, when I found out that I was named MVP of December, I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, I am happy to receive this award. It’s great news to end the year with! I want to thank God, my family and my teammates. This award is not only a personal achievement, but also a success for the whole team. With our roster, it was only a matter of time before one of the guys received an award, because all the guys are worthy! Thank you to the VTB League for recognizing me, it means a lot, as it is my first award in the VTB League. And most importantly, thank you to our sixth player, without you and your support, our success would not have been possible.
