Quotes
Enisey head coach Oleg Okulov:
– We didn’t have enough energy today and Parma had enough time to prepare. They broke down our offense. We’ve got a lot of games in a row and there’s a lot of pressure on our players. We defended poorly in the first half. Those mistakes may have been due to a lack of energy and emotion. The offense didn’t work. Parma scored a lot of easy baskets after turnovers. Our job was to survive. We played better in the 3rd quarter, then got going in the 4th and earned a win with our defense.
Parma head coach Viacheslav Shushakov:
– You could say we gave Enisey a huge present today in the 4th quarter. We totally executed for three quarters, but started to doubt in the 4th. It may have been because of lack of experience with such a big lead. We apparently started watching the scoreboard. Enisey’s talent outplayed us in one-on-one basketball.
