Two exciting games were played on Saturday in the VTB League.
Avtodor broke PARMA’s resistance in Perm (105-93), overcoming a 17-point deficit. The star of the comeback was All-Star Perrin Buford. The American forward poured in 30 points (3-4 from beyond the arc) to go with nine rebounds and a 33 efficiency rating in 37 minutes on the court.
The game between UNICS and Astana in Kazan came down to the final seconds. The Kazakh club went on a 10-0 run late to secure another shocking upset (98-95) and remain in the League’s top five. The biggest shots of the game came courtesy of Michael Jenkins. He finished with 24 points (3-5 from beyond the arc), four assists and a 25 efficiency rating in 23 minutes on the court.
