The VTB United League President Sergey Kushchenko visited the Ice Arena under construction as part of his visit to the Russian Cup Final Four.
The tour was led by Dmitry Kabaylo, Minister of Sports of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Sergey Panov, President of Pari NN, and Mikhail Velmuzhov, General Director of the basketball team.

– I was convinced that Nizhny Novgorod is a very sports city and undoubtedly deserves a good sports infrastructure once again. It’s great that there will be another modern arena.
When the facility is completed, it will be possible to consider the possibility of holding top basketball games here.
I am sure that together with the nearby football stadium built for the World Cup, the Ice Arena will become a part of a unique sports cluster and a real point of attraction for sports fans from Nizhny Novgorod and all over Russia.
