The MarSpot international sports marketing conference began today in Moscow at Otkritie Arena and will run from May 30-31.
VTB United League president Sergey Kushchenko presented at a session titled “Popularizing and commercial sources of income for sports federations, clubs and leagues: Where is Russian sport now and where is it headed?” All-Russian Volleyball Federation general secretary Alexander Yaremenko, FNL president Igor Efremov, Russian Computer Sports Federation president Dmitry Smit and Sellout Sport System general director Ivan Meshkov also participated.
Kushchenko presented on the VTB League’s key goals and priorities, including: Transitioning from sports to business on the example of the All-Star Game, the League’s social initiatives and popularizing the product.
