VTB United League President Sergey Kushchenko participated in the Roscongress Basketball Cup as part of the SPIEF program.
On June 5, the Roscongress Foundation and the ANO Central Sports Council of the Civil Service, together with the Russian Basketball Federation, the VTB United League, and BC Zenit, held their traditional basketball game as part of the sports program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026. This year’s event was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight.
The game featured Russian Basketball Federation President Andrei Kirilenko, NBA champion Timofei Mozgov, RSSS President Sergei Kryukov, and European champion Sergei Bykov, competing as part of the Vostok-1 and Sputnik-1 teams.
The Vostok-1 team claimed the win – 82–68.
