Sergey Kushchenko, VTB United League President:
– 3 VTB United League clubs participated in the Russian Cup Final Four, and the competition in Vladivostok was very intense in every game. Congratulations to MBA-MAI on its first title in history!
I would like to separately note the organization of the Cup and the hosting of the event on campus—this is a completely new concept and idea. Everything was presented beautifully—the opening show was magnificent, and I really enjoyed the live orchestra.
The region’s top officials attended the games in Vladivostok—this demonstrates significant attention to our sport and specifically to the Final Four. We discussed the development of a professional team in Vladivostok. I am confident that exciting basketball events should be held more often in Primorsky Krai.
