The VTB United League President Sergey Kushchenko became the guest of the United Continental League 3×3 Superfinal and took part in Friends’ game.
Kaluga hosted United Continental League 3×3 Superfinal on December 6 and 9. The strongest teams all around the World participated in it. The teams from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Serbia, France and Turkey took part in the competition.
Now there are 19 pro 3×3 players, who previously played in VTB League or VTB Youth League. The VTB League was represented by 2 Olympics 2022 silver medalists – Ilya Karpenkov (Pari NN) and Kirill Pisklov (Uralmash)
Sergey Kushchenko supported the large-scale basketball project and participated in Friends’ Game UCL 3×3.
The game of teams Saturn and Mars ended with a friendly draw.
Along with the League President the team Mars was made of Kazakh Basketball Federation President Abay Alpamyssov, UCL 3×3 General Manager Alexander Fomin, 2-time European and Olympics Champion Irina Sumnikova, UCL 3×3 Sports Director Vladislav Voronin, ZEDO Sport Director Alexander Zuev, Ermont 3×3 manager and coach, UCL 3×3 Conceal Member Olivier Marvillet.

– The events hosted by UCL 3×3 has always high-level organisation. If we have a possibility to participate, we are always come as there is all made for love of basketball.
The 3×3 basketball level in Russia increases a lot. There are 30 players, who now playing 3×3 and had experience in VTB League and VTB Youth League and have good level.
Basketball 3×3 is a game with extremely fast decision making, World trend and Olympics sport. Basketball 3×3 shows the World that people, who has great energy and skills can play, it is very smart game.
