VTB United League President Sergey Kushchenko attended KES-BASKET Super Final.

On April 25, the decisive games of KES-BASKET School Basketball League Superfinal took place in Izhevsk. The Moscow team won the girls’ cup, while the Kursk Region team claimed the trophy in the boys’ division.

Kushchenko, who is also a member of the KES-BASKET Board of Directors, took part in the traditional All-Star Game and presented awards to the Superfinal winners.

Sergey Kushchenko,VTB United League President :
– The large-scale KES-BASKET project, which plays a very important role in the VTB United League ecosystem, once again demonstrated a high level of organization at the Superfinal in Izhevsk. 81 regions of the Russian Federation, 18,000 teams, and over 270,000 participants—the numbers speak for themselves. Izhevsk succeeded in bringing everyone together—the most talented schoolchildren, coaches, managers, Olympic champions, and simply basketball enthusiasts. The final games were a real delight—both in skill level and the quality.
Special thanks to Viktor Vekselberg, Alexey Frolov, and the entire KES-BASKET team and its leadership. Special gratitude for this celebration goes to Aleksander Brechalov, Head of the Udmurt Republic; Izhevsk has set a new standard for the Superfinals ahead of the anniversary season.
KES-BASKET is one of the League’s favorite projects, which has always been supported by Sergey Ivanov, Honorary President of the VTB United League. That is why the League, for its part, always invites the guys from KES-BASKET to its events and All-Star Games. This interaction with the younger generation is important to us.
