Game progress
The Moscow team had the advantage in the first minutes, but the Yekaterinburg team gradually equalized the game. Octavius Ellis and Anton Glazunov put Uralmash ahead and the guests kept the lead until the halftime. Both teams had trouble with three-pointers (3 of 13 and 2 of 12). Jeremiah Hill  dunk and Aleksa Radanov minimized difference to 3 points by the halftime – 37:40.

The third quarter did not bring any fundamental changes. The score was equal before the final quarter – 61:61.

Key moment
Runa demonstrated an excellent balance of offense and defense in the middle of the fourth quarter. Garrett Nevels play gave Uralmash a chance to save the game.

The Moscow team trailed by 3 in the final minute, followed by a series of mutual misses and turnovers, after which the guests still had a chance to tie the game. Erturul Erdogan tactical decision to not give the opponent any three-pointers had worked. After a foul by Hill, Nevels cut the difference to a minimum, but there was only 5 seconds left. And then Octavius Ellis had Delay of Game call (stepped on the boundary line), for which he got a technical. Hill made a free throw and got 2 more after Glazunov foul – 86:82.

Runa had poor three-point percentage today (8 of 27, 29.6%) with an excellent two-point shots – 20 of 32 and 62.5%.

Runa won the newcomers derby for the second time this season. The first game took place on October 6 in Yekaterinburg, then the Moscow team got the win 85:78. The rivalry between these 2 teams promises to be principled.
