Nizhny Novgorod announced the signing of a contract with Rolands Freimanis. The sixth man of the United League in the 2020/21 season signed a one-year contract with the Nizhny Novgorod.
In the last season, Freimanis played for Zielona Gora and became one of the best scorers of the team, averaging 17.8 points per game with 42.6% of three-pointers. The Latvian forward also averaged 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists. At the end of the regular season, Freimanis was recognized as the sixth man of the League.
