Universal arena shall hold top-tier basketball and ice hockey games as well as grand concerts. Currently the hall is at the stage of concept development.
VTB United League President Sergey Kushchenko said, “Perm Krai is called Mecca of Russian basketball for a reason. They hold numerous competitions for youth on a regular basis, PARMA have been keeping the title of the most attended VTB United League team, and Russian national teams get their crucial wins in Eurocup and World Cup qualifications. I’m really happy that Perm will have its own beautiful house of basketball by 2023. This will be new universal sports and concert hall with 10 thousand seats. I’d like to express my gratitude to Perm Krai governor Maxim Reshetnikov for this initiative. And I have a dream. I want VTB United League All-Star Game at this arena. Perm fans deserve it!”
