Nizhny Novgorod have signed American forward Nate Sestina (206 cm, 106 kg). The deal is made until the end of 2020.
The 23-year-old Sestina spent four years (including a redshirt season) at Bucknell before transferring to Kentucky. Under coach John Calipari, he averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 20 minutes per game while shooting 40.7 from 3-point range.

“We decided to make a replacement signing while Luke Petrasek and Sergey Toropov are recovering from injuries. Nate should cover no.4 position in our roster. He plays with energy and enthusiasm. As it’s his first season in Europe we’ll do our best to help him settle in new place and fit into our team.”
