Story
Codi Miller-McIntyre recorded the League’s first triple-double of the season, posting 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to guide PARMA to a crucial win over Enisey.

The home team outscored Krasnoyarsk by 28 combined points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, securing its 7th win of the season while virtually eliminating the visitors from the playoff race.

Enisey had lost seven of eight entering the contest and desperately needed a win to keep its postseason hopes alive. Defense gave the visitors a chance in the 1st quarter. Enisey held PARMA to 11 points in the opening minutes and led 14-11 on Suleiman Braimoh’s jumper.

PARMA responded with a 4-0 run to end the period, then opened the 2nd quarter with an 11-2 run, pushing the lead to 10.

Enisey never threatened again, trailing by 12 at halftime and 29 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Miller-McIntyre spearheaded PARMA’s all-around dominance as the home team outrebounded Enisey 45-34 and dished out 24 assists.

With the victory, PARMA moves into 7th place at 7-11. Enisey remains last in the League with a 3-14 record, three and a half games back of the final playoff spot.

Stat
17 + 11 + 11 – It had been three years since the last triple-double in the League (Kalev’s Scott Machado, February 2015). Miller-McIntyre had come close once earlier this season, missing out by one rebound in a home game vs. VEF.

Quotes
PARMA head coach Nikolajs Mazurs:
– First of all, I want to congratulate our team with the win. This was a very important game in the playoff race. The home court was a big factor in the game vs. Enisey. It’s not very convenient to fly from Krasnoyarsk to Perm given the long layover. This game was the mirror opposite of our first meeting, when we lost. I wouldn’t say we played our best today, but got the result we needed thanks to our desire and attitude.

Enisey head coach Oleg Okulov:
– This was not our best game, although we’ve been playing poorly for a while now. Unfortunately, we’ve had a lot of injuries this season which have made it difficult to prepare for games with a full roster. Two of our leaders, Liutych and Hilliard, only returned to practice a few days ago, which is why they didn’t play to their full ability.
