Story
The opponents approached this game being on the polar sides of the standings. Perm with 2 won games took second place. The guests, losing all the 4 games were on the last 13th place. The game was the first after quarantine for both teams so it wasn’t considered a cakewalk for PARMA.

The teams were struggling in the beginning. Slow possession basketball was comfortable for the guests. While Perm were finding their long-range shot the Siberians headed by Mikhail Kulagin took the lead in the game. At some point Krasnoyarsk advantage reached 9 points – 16:7. But then the hosts activated. Successful actions by bench players Konstantin Bulanov and Robert Johnson together with zone defense helped PARMA cut the lead a bit by the end of the first quarter – 15:20.

At the beginning of the second quarter it seemed like Ural could take the control over the game. Inspired by Vladimir Ivlev they took the lead – 29:27. The rest of the quarter was a duel between PARMA downtown shooters and Enisey players scoring from paint. Krasnoyarsk were luckier in this duel. The Siberians dominated on rebounds and scored much more points from the paint. It let the guests take the lead back by the big break – 44:39.

Key moment
Almost all the third quarter long the teams were exchanging points. However, in late 3rd quarter the guests managed to put 9-point run. Double-digit lead looked like the game was done, especially considering the scoring was low that night – 67:54. To survive Perm started to shoot from the outside, but unlike the second quarter the shots weren’t accurate. However, Krasnoyarsk were good, they dominated on boards, looked fresher and Mikhail Kulagin was just killing the opponents with his accurate shots. As a result the first Enisey victory this season was pretty confident.

Hero
Mikhail Kulagin became the top scorer on Enisey roster once again. The guard set some personal records at once – in points (26), rebounds (6) and shots made from the field (10). Moreover, he repeated his career-highs in three-pointers made (5) and efficiency points (26).

Stat
40:25 – total domination on boards was one of the key factors of Siberians’ victory. Moreover, the guests outran the rivals in points form the paint (40:20) and second chance points (24:13).

Comments
PARMA head coach Kazys Maksvytis:
– Congratulations to Enisey on the victory. Today the team that was more prepared for the game won. Today we are not in the good shape, physically, tactically and mentally. I hope we will get in our best shape soon. We lost today in energy, second chance points. And as it happened to all the teams after quarantine, we were tired in the second half.

Enisey acting head coach Pavel Dergachev:
– I think that today we wanted to win more than our rivals. We also had roster problems. I understand that PARMA haven’t played official games for a long time and lost the rhythm, but it doesn’t make our achievement less true, we took a stand today.
