VTB United League announced the participants of 3-point shootout contest, which will take place after 1st quarter of All-Star Game at VTB Arena on February, 16. The contest is presented by sports betting company FONBET.
Participants:
Maxim Grigoryev (PARMA) – 47,4% of 3-point field goals this season in VTB United League.
Vitaly Fridzon (Lokomotiv-Kuban) – 38,9% in VTB League, 50,0% — in Eurocup
Malcolm Hill (Astana) – 41,5% in VTB United League.
Branko Mirkovic (Tsmoki-Minsk) – 40,5% in United League, 37,3% — in Eurocup.
The contest will consist of common stages. Each participant has 1 minute to shoot from 5 spots, each of them has 5 balls (4 regular and 1 moneyball, which costs 2 points) Only 2 best shooters will participate in final, which will decide the winner. If the scores are even, there will be tie-break, which lasts 24 seconds.
