UNICS announced the transfer of Mario Herzonja. The contract with the 26-year-old Croatian forward is calculated according to the 1+1 system.
Mario Herzonja started his professional career in 2012 at Barcelona, with which he became a two-time champion of Spain. At the 2015 NBA draft, under the 5th pick, forward was selected by Orlando Magic, in which he played 3 seasons. After that, Herzonja played for the Knicks and Portland, and in February 2021 returned to Europe and finished the season at Panathinaikos, winning the Greek championship and cup.
Mario Herzonja has 335 NBA games and 38 Euroleague games to his credit.
