UNICS announced the signing of Marcus Keane and Darrun Hilliard.
Keane played in the United League for Kalev and won the Best Scoring Player of the 2020/21 season award (20 points per game). The guard was recognized MVP of April and took part in the All-Star Game.
This season Markus played for Marrousi (Greece). In 17 games in the Greek championship, he averaged 14.7 points, 4.2 assists and 1.7 rebounds.
Hilliard previously also represented VTB League club CSKA from 2019 through 2021. With the Moscow team, he averaged 10.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.7 steals.
At the start of his career he played in the NBA for Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs, and played in the Euroleague for Baskonia, Bayern and Maccabi.
In the current season in CB Breogan (Spain), the forward had 13.6 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.
UNICS removed Tony Taylor and Louis Labeyrie from the team’s roster.
