Avtodor has signed a one-year with 28-year-old American guard Malik Newman.
Malik is already familiar to VTB League fans, having played for Avtodor in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons. Newman was the top scorer of the 2022/23 season, the All-Star Game 2023 participant, and the MVP of February in 2023.
Last season, he changed 3 clubs: Jilin Tigers, Napoli, and finished the season with Merkezefendi (Turkey). His average stats: 5.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 15 minutes.
