Avtodor guard Malik Newman became the MVP of the VTB United League season 2022/23 in February.

Avtodor won all 3 games in February (against Enisey, MINSK and PARMA-PARI) and is currently the leader of Group B with 11 wins and 15 losses. In addition, Avtodor remains the only team in the League that has not suffered a single loss in the second stage of the regular season.
Malik Newman became one of the most effective players in February, averaging 21.3 points at 42.4% from the game. Avtodor guard also made 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds with 21.3 eff. points. Newman updated his season high with 27 points against Enisey.
Malik Newman also leads the list of the best scoring players of the 2022/23 season with 19.3 points in 33.3 minutes per game.
