Samara has announced the signing of 33-year-old American forward Malcolm Thomas.
Previously, Thomas had already played in the VTB League – he played in Khimki from 2017 to 2019. The forward got 56 games for the Moscow Region team in the VTB League averaging 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per 22.2 minutes on the floor.
Thomas played the 2021/22 season in Petkimspor where he scored 14.1 points and 7.8 rebounds in the Turkish League. Earlier in his career the forward played in the NBA for Golden State, Chicago, San Antonio, Utah and Philadelphia, also in Germany, China and Spain.
